Revolving Stage
A unique revolving stage is located in the Bedřichové sady park near the square in Týn nad Vltavou You can walk from the square, taking the underpass at the roundabout, and then continuing on Ke Hradu St.
The outdoor theater was created in 1983 and is similar to the revolving stage in Český Krumlov. During the summer season, the Vltavan Theater Company (http://dsvltavan.cz) organizes regular and heavily-attended theater performances by local and guest troupes, and the stage is also used for concerts and music festivals.
Tickets for the 2019 Revolving Stage season in Týn nad Vltavou can be reserved at 603 281 718 (10 a.m. – noon, 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.) or by writing to predprodej@dsvltavan.cz. Begining March 1, you can visit the ticket office at the Château Theater during the following hours:
- Monday 10 a.m. – noon
- Wednesday 10 a.m. – noon
- Friday 10 a.m. – noon
